Implications of Nevada’s New Privacy Law

California is not the only state with a post-GDPR privacy law – Nevada joined the fray this year, passing a law that went into effect in October 2019, a few months before the California Consumer Protection Act will be implemented. In this article, we detail the law, which features the right to opt out of the sale of covered information, explain how it compares with the CCPA and provide compliance strategies.
